Iain of Tyne Joinery has now done two extensions for us – both of which we were delighted with. Indeed, we have recommended him to a number of friends – two of whom also used him for their extensions and were also very pleased. There are a number of reasons why I have (and will continue to) recommend Iain. Reliability and quality are joint top reasons. Iain does what he says he’ll do. He and his team turn up and work hard to get the job done on time. He absolutely does things right. He doesn’t cut corners or use less materials or scrimp on anything. He follows the drawings and does it correctly. Iain is very accomplished in many building disciplines but being a time-served joiner means that he is top-dolla in timber construction (you should see how complex our dormer roof construction was) and even ‘cabinet making’ (I’ve seen two kitchens that he’s fitted and EVEN I would have been pleased with them). Iain also has a great list of contacts to get steel fabrications, brick laying, roofing, electricals, etc, etc done and done on time and done right. As you can tell, I do recommend Tyne Joinery and would be happy to speak to anybody who would like further details. Iain isn’t paying me for this reference (although maybe he should !) but I’m happy to vouch for someone that I’ve found to be reliable, good and reasonably priced.
